“Education”, as Quoted by W.B. Yeats, “Is not filling a bucket but a fire”. Today, children of India are growing in a more challenging and demanding environment. Education has broadened its parameters and as a result the role of learner and learned has acquired a new form. Globalization demands a new dimension to our approach to education. Such education means imparting skills that would develop mental ability in an individual to interact and and work confidently in diverse environs or situations. We make education a total and joyous experience. Every child is unique and has something special in him/her. It is our business to help the child discover those hidden qualities and nurture them. Once, while discussing the problems of youth with Swami Vivekananda, few people remarked that, “Swamiji, today’s youth is useless’ and read it “today’s youth is usedless. “Yes, when we start giving the right direction to the youth and start using their positive energy, the youth becomes the foundation head of creativity.
Though high academic achievement is undoubtedly our Endeavour, our goal is the development of a child’s total personality. Discipline, character, self-confidence, alertness, independent thought, decisiveness are some important traits that we are trying to inculcate in our students as part of their personality. The school provides the child ample opportunities to develop these.
We also firmly believe in the dictum the education should provide an integrated personality and help the students imbibe human values. This will help them to become not only good professionals but also conscientious human beings and responsible citizens. The school provides value based education which includes aesthetic, ethical, spiritual and moral education under the tutelage of expert and experienced teachers. To conclude, the performance is the result of meditativeness,as with it, God descends-casual memories fade away and innovative ideas germinate and grow.
